Change a user's password

As an Administrator, you can change a User's password. This can be helpful if a User isn't able to change his/her own password, or for large groups of enrollments in a course.
- Click the Site Management menu at the top of your account page.
- Click the People menu.
- Use the search feature to find the User whose password you'd like to change. Click on the User's name.
- Click the Edit button, next to the Mimic button on the right-hand side of the page.
- Click Password.
- Enter the User's new password twice, and the click the purple Save New Password button. You'll see a yellow banner near the top of the screen, confirming "Password successfully updated."
